Mama and Daddy moved to Greenville, South Carolina after Daddy returned from the War in May of 1944. Daddy was stationed at what was then, Greenville Army Air Base, a B25 bomber training facility (The base was renamed Donaldson Air Force Base in 1951).
These photos are of my parents with sixteen month old Carolyn in February 1945. Mama was pregnant with Jimmy who would be born in Houston, Texas in June.
