first- you have beautiful handwriting. second- i love the title. would you mind if i scraplifted the title? i have a photo of myself that my husband took while I was reading book 4 and i look pale and zoned out from reading for 5 days straight.. and i've been wanting to scrap it but never had the motivation or any title ideas.. third- LOVE this LO!!!
this is a layout that ive been wanting to do for months, and it finally happened
the journalling is about the fortuitous evening when i picked up twilight off my coffee table. my husband is a high school english teacher, and he took a summer class about teaching young adult literature for his continuing education. it was a small class and each student picked their favorite young adult book, and one girl picked "twilight" so my husband read it, and really enjoyed it himself. knowing i have an interest in vampires (mostly due to buffy the vampire slayer being my fave tv show) he recommended i read it, but i scoffed at him: "me, read young adult books?" i have way more important things to read, i read classics and philosophy and feminist political discourse and poetry, i don't have time to read a silly kids books!" but one night when sleep would not come, i picked it up assuming i'd be asleep before the end of chapter one, but six hours later and one hour before i would normally get up for work, i finished the book and lost my heart to edward. even more than displacing spike as my all time vampire crush, the twilight books taught me that reading can be fun!
i have definitely been bitten. i found this altered cover online, with the bite out of the apple, and had to make a layout of it!
