Here's one of DS and DH last Father's day. It's for a couple of Feb. challenges.
1.Round we go- I used circles everywhere here and
even did the twist. My 3 hearts are on the lower left
corner.
2.2 pager
I started this one by tracing my scallopped round bazzil paper onto some old Basic Grey paper and then distressing. All pp's are OLD Basic grey except for the white cardstock background. I distressed and inked all the circles. I used my small circle punch for the edges of the round scallops. I then punched a hole in those circles and added glossy accents on top. I also used glossy accents on "fish" which I first masked and doodled black dots on. Some of the circles on the right strip of orange are also glossy accented as well as the black dots on my heart. The mulberry paper was white so I inked it. After all that I stitched and beaded the other circles. Journaling reads:
You were so excited to bring home this ceramic fish you made with you Kindergarten class! It was your father's day gift to your dad, and came wrapped in a larger fish made of paper with this poem attached.

A piece of me I give to you
I made this fish to say "I love you"
I hope you will save it and look back someday
At the fish we shared on your special day
Happy Father's day!
Love, Logan
