Wow oh Wow! You have a very Im at a loss for words, If you knew me, you would no that I am never at a loss for words. I just love it. You are right
no red lipstick!! Gosh I keep looking back at this thing in your lovely head.
I was just about to ask you if you were a Cure fan like me, and I read the first few words of your description (lol). The strangest part is that I am listening to that song right now. Isn't that strange? Very cool job! The Cure is my all-time favorite band!
"Lullaby" by the Cure is one of my favourite songs. My all-time favourite is "Love Song." I saw the Cure in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. They were great! Nice inspiration for a layout!
love, love, love this. love the darkness (both literal and figurative). My fav part has got to be the lips. Great touch! Voted for innovative, added to my favs.
wow and wow again, this piece is remarlable. i absolutelly love all of it, from the colors to the embel. you used, and the gauze idea, now thats unique. I will have to try that sometime. what an inspiration you are.
This is really fantastic! How did you attach the gauze? Did you glue the whole sheet down and then scrunch it up? I may have to try out some gauze... I'm sure I've got some tucked away somewhere :o)
Lullaby by the Cure- this song inspired me - when I saw it after so many years - I had milions of ideas running through my head. I love the climate and music, the whole idea is simply fabulous :)And now the effects of this inspiration - a mixmedia layout on canvas, 25x25 cm, all in balcks, whites and purples - the colurs that suit my bedroom best. I know that the layout may be a bit contoversial in style, but I have to add I simply love palying with styles, fashions, culture myths...so what you see is my variation about "lullaby" and the modern gothic style. We look a bit lika a members of Adams family ;P But - why not? I even like the red colour on our lips (distress ink, hah).I took one photos where we're together - haven't got much of these - the one where we looked a bit tired ;) I add some more colour with inks, and then th e madness started... Behind Jędrek there's an working clock (yes, it's ticking all the time) - I took a simple plastic mechanism with a battery - After some problems I finally added it to the layout - and it works... what a relief! The layout's background is made of gauze painted with black spray paint, there're lots of laces, flowers, gems, glitter, grungeboard swirls and other embelishments. I also used a bit of alcohol ink to colour the giga size dew drops :)Now, what else canI say? Hope you had fun looking at it - surely I had great time creating this strange looking clock layout. Now I konw that a red brick lipstick is not for me :) hugs to you all :*
