Very emotional page and I can feel your happiness. I can also relate -- I have a Jeffrey serving in Iraq right now and can't wait to see him safe again.

There are no words that can begin to express our joy and relief when we finally saw Jeffrey march into the gym, along with the rest of the Headquarters Company of the 983rd Engineer Battalion. It had been a long year—a year of worry, of stress, of fear. And as soon as I saw him standing there, all I wanted to do was get my arms around him. But he just stood there, at attention, along with the rest of his Company, waiting for the command that they were released to their families. Those were probably the longest 15 minutes of all of our lives.
