My Grandson and the Bushman of San Francisco. A lot of people know of him but if you don't the journaling will explain an quirky and wonderfully fun tradition at the wharf in SF

Joournaling reads.

Behind that bush is the BUSHMAN of San Francisco. If you look close you can see his feet behind the bush. He has been around for years all ways down by the wharf. I find it funny that
people never seem to notice that a bush does not grow out of the sidewalk. At least until they walk by and he shakes the bush and growls. Then they jump, scream and do a lot of odd movements. He earns his living this way and has a can out to put money in. Once people have
been scared they walk a little ways away and watch other unsuspecting people. He seems to be the happiest person, sitting on a bucket behind the bush and smiling all the time. We saw him ahead of time and knew what he was going to do, so we set you up by guiding you close to him and I stayed back to get a photo. Sure enough he rattled the bush and growled as you walked by making you jump sideway. You were not to happy at first but when you saw him do it to others and saw how funny it was you wanted to put money in his can. Of course, we did. I love seeing the Bushman and this time was no exception!!!!! 2009
