This car is parked outside my home. Con Edison, the electric utility company in my area, pays limousine drivers to sit in their Town Cars with a cone on the roof of the car and plastic tape surrounding the car when there is a 'dangerous condition'. Note, there is no sign stating what the condition maybe. I spoke with the driver....he said, "the electric wires beneath the sidewalk in conjunction with the snow, can cause an electric shock to animals." We have had incidents in the city where people walking their dogs have had their dogs shocked. I believe a very small breed actually died. This is so scarey....if an animal can be shocked, I would think so could a small child! This is too bizarre and part of living in the city. Note the garbage is piling up as Sanitation is putting their efforts into snow removal.....many of those bags are from my shredding.
