Another fave for me too my friend, once again you surpassed youself. How do you keep doing that? Beggahuna didn't read your description, however, I read it twice to make sure I didn't miss anything. Love your dads comment...glad you scrapped it. Luv to you...Trudy
My Goodness me Nancy, your gallery is such a pleasure to look through. I really love this and the story behind it..but as you say...a lovely memory. You looked such a cutie :-)
Beautiful papers and elements again. I too cut up old wallpapers but this is totally lush.
Clever girlie.

So beautiful!! So soft and lovely and you were a dollbaby!! You used that punch for the frame to perfection!! It is gorgeous!! The stitching is the perfect way to miter the corners, very clever!!
This is just so incredibly stunning! The stitched frame is brilliant and your border punch work is amazing...it's hard to line those borders up so that they come out exactly perfect! The wallpaper cutout is just so whimsical and adds the perfect touch of delicacy. Your paper choice and embellies are all just so visually striking. Amazing...straight to my faves!
That's you!!! I really can't see the little letters to read it sorry....I didn't realize it was you. Sooo sweet and so sorry I missed your birthday!! Happy Late Birthday!!!!!!!! I had the flu.
What a gorgeous LO! I love how you did the frame. I didn't even think about the stitching as the trendy corset-stitching, I just thought it was perfect for a ballet LO. Love the flower border - that's so lovely.
Oh how precious... We all have our little girl dance pictures laying around now dont we! Im glad to see you actually did something wonderful and creative with yours... Im considering doing mine now too... but I was never a ballerina - I took tap - And was a yellow duck for my recital! hehehe
OMG, Happy Birthday Nancy!!!!! I have to say, I think this is my favorite layout you've done girl! I love it! What a story behind it, and you're soooo damn cute!!!!!!!!! faves!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOW !!! What a cute pic of you & great story!! I love your desigh here!!! I was going to ask about the cut flowers but just read that it's from wallpaper!!!! You are too clever!!!! This is sooooooooooooooooo very pretty!! And Happy Birthday!!!!
Oh look at adorable little you! And if your photo is vintage, I hate to think what that makes me... dead! That frame is to die for, and the spray too! Beautiful work! Happy birthday!
First of all... Happy Birthday to You (a day late) ~ This is {{ OUTSTANDING }} LoVe the frame!! Weren't you just adorable!?!!!! Adding this to my Faves for Inspiration for all these border punches that I have. TY sooo much for sharing! :)
Here is a picture of me....sad that I feel like this is almost a "heritage" photo! maybe it is by today's standards :o)
Journaling on the back reads: I was about 4 years old here...my beautiful, if short-lived, career as a prima ballerina - when we practiced for the recital at the huge University Auditorium, a girl in our line-up was missing - so the night of the performance- or rather, during the performance, I was supposed to go in an opposite direction than I had practiced - I froze! and went in the wrong direction... or so they say - My mom told me many years later that my Dad's only comment was - "And how much did I pay for this?" My ballet career didn't last a whole lot longer - But here's a picture & a memory!
All paper here is CTMH - patterned paper is the Notebook collection, title is in a CTMH stamp, cut out a frame and stitched it together in the ever so popular corset-like stitching, used my Fiskar border punch on all edges of the frame, the pink/white polka-dot ribbon is American Craft, the ribbon on the picture is Anna Griffin, the hand-cut flower border is from an antique wallpaper- in which I added some pink dimensional paint. TFL!
