This is the first of a few layouts I did of my last holiday in SA with my family. Once again I had so many photos so decided to make a 3D collage/frame for the pages with all the photos I took in the game reserve. The journalling reads: "In June 2008 I took the boys to visit my South African family. The first half of our holiday was with my Mum and Dad in Matubatuba. We spent most of the time on safari. Jack told us that we had to shout 'Animal Control' whenever we saw an animal. We missed Daddy but had a brilliant time."
I used wooden lettering that I got from a gift shop while on holiday and covered them in glitter to make them nice and sparkerly. The clips at the top of the pages are Making Memories metal clips which say 'the big adventure' and the other is script type old fashioned writing. I used felt material in animal print to make the animal frame stand out. The african sunset photo with the tree in the background was taken on the last night of our holiday - I printed it out on acetate to give it a transparent effect.
