Here's a not so typical 4th of July LO. I really wanted the colors to go with the photos so I strayed away from the red, white, and blue. This was done for a couple of March challenges.

2.make your own embellies-I made the leaves and dragonflies. For detailed version of how I did this look in my gallery. I used some alpha's Kim (superallyfan) sent me for a RAK. I lightly went over them with white ink. Thanks Kim! It might be hard to tell from the scan, but the photo on the bottom right is cut up in diamond shaped chipboard. So it's a little 3D. I also made the background "water" paper with inks, water, and a paint brush. Journaling reads:
Celebrating freedom! Logan, Alex, and Roan cooling off and playing in the shallow part of Donner Lake on 4th of July 2007.
