This is the weekend of my daughter's baptism, 22 years ago! My mum was present for the birth of my daughter (at home!) and I love the memory of the pair of them being so happy. My mum had a cerebral haemorrhage when Emily was 15 months, and has never been quite the same since. I really want to remind Emily that there were very happy grandmotherly times in the past, and I think these photos definitely show that. I loved doing the old stem stitch for the homemade flowers!
