This page is just beautiful in real life!!! I wish there was a way for everyone to see just how perfect it is! The glow on your dgd's hair just sets the whole layout!! Once again thank you for sharing!
OH WOW!!!!!! What a wonderful effect Susan!!....I'm loving the gems and the masking with the stitching....very cool technique! It all works beautifully with the photo!!
Wow- I love this! Sooo pretty! That masking technique is really cool looking! Love how you did the sun rays with the stickles! And that is an awesome photo! Wonderful job on this one!
Another technique that I just can't seem to master! Love yours and love the way you added the stickles to get the suns rays!! Terrific picture, too! TFS!
That picture is just incredible and framing it with the mask and stickles is the perfect way to tie in the title to the picture. You pulled off your first masking page just wonderully.
Oh my....what a great layout, Susan! I love how you added the rays of sunshine, and the flourish is gorgeous! Such a sweet photo ~ Butch looks so happy here!!!
Wow Susan! You really outdid yourself on this one. Absolutely fantastic! Masking scares the heck out of me - I've always wanted to do it, but I'm chicken out. Gorgeous LO. Into faves!
Susan, what an incredible photo - love how Helen Grace's hair both absorbs and reflects the sun's warmth - and love all the details you included in your LO...Gorgeous!!!
What a fantastic pic and I love the way you worked the layout to reflect the sun! Fabulous masking job. As always, love all the little thoughtful details!
Such an amazing photo! Her hair looks like flames! Great job with the masking technique! I love how you are always trying new and fun things on your pages. The quote is perfect!
My DGD, Helen Grace, with her Grandpa. I tried masking for the first time and I really like the way it came out. Had a hard time getting a decent pic of the layout. The flowers are red and orange and I added some yellow stickles to the petals. The font is Nutmet (QK). The scalloped edge was done with the new Fiskars scallop edge punch. I added Robin's nest flat sided "gems" around the inside of the circle. The "rays" were done with yellow stickles. The quote says:
To love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides. ~David Viscott
