This is my grandfather and part of his family shortly before immigrating to the US. My grandfather is the child on the right. He was born in 1902, so I figure this is around 1905-6. (Not positive)
I know in 1920 when the census was taken my grandfather was 17 years old.
So sometime in between the taking of this picture and him being a teenager, they came to the States from Lithuania. (which had been overrun by the USSR).
His last name was changed to Kopsick when he immigrated. (someplace I have the original name- perhaps it will show up on our family tree!)

What's really cool is that we started an online Family Tree and put the word out, and now there are over 340 people on it. It's at geni.com and it's FREE! So… My “first cousin once removed” posted this picture of my great grandfather! Isn't that cool!
I have a feeling I may be able to obtain “family pictures” from family members that I don't even know~!

tfl~!!

Oh ... thanks to Scrapperlicious for the idea of the glossy accents on the flower that makes it look like water droplets on the petals.
