This is a picture of my aunt Betty,my dad holding his dog,Patches,and someone whom we think is an older cousin.I'm not sure,but I think my sister said this was in Deerfield Beach,Fla.Being from Philly,I know my dad's family went to Ocean City,NJ,but apparently they went to Fla.,too.That would explain my him settling in Ft. Pierce in his later years.I'm guesstimating this photo taken around 1931.
I thought about cropping this,but liked the boardwalk and umbrellas in the background.I used a sheet of pp that looked like the boardwalk made by the Paper Studio.The rest of the pp is K&co."Sea Glass" collection.Distressed and inked.The shells are 3-D stickers,same collection that I mounted on squares of matted pp.I glued on some artificial flowers to look like seaweed.I was forced to use the title,as it got stuck and started to tear.So I left it!I think we've all been there before.It was from Jolee's.It said Life's a Beach,but as you can see I decided to change it!TFL!
