Is this from your trip? I think it is a great tailed grackle. I saw them in San Antonio,the males are twice the size of the female and they look like a bigger grackle than the ones we have, but they fan their tails really cool to me, and the female are nuch smaller and brownish like this.

Looks like a femal blackbird and if thye gather in large numbers thts what I would assume.

With that beak, my 1st reaction was grackle; but in GA they are darker & maybe a bit bigger. Not a cow bird, as they are all brown. I'll stick with Krazy4kardz view below. God bless birds.

Looks very much like the grackles we have in Florida. Loud, noisy and love to get into the rubbish. Not a favorite bird for in the yard.

Ooooh that's a female Great-Tailed Grackle, I believe... I recognize those hateful critters anywhere! It also looks like the boat- tailed grackle, but they have brown eyes and are smaller (and cuter!).
