Our town has a St. Patrick's Day parade, this year was the fourth annual (I think) parade. We live about 2 blocks from downtown, so we just walked up for the parade. We had breakfast-for-lunch at Sonic, and then went to the parade. We all had a ball! Every float that passed by, things were thrown at the crowd: candy, bubble gum, beads, water bottles, frisbees, beach balls. Jory caught a water bottle and Lizzie caught a plastic cup. From then on, every Lizzie stood by the curb and held out her cup as the floats passed for candy. It was the funniest thing. This parade was the first one the kids had ever attended; usually they watch them on television. They had a ball!
