This is my son Brandon, pic taken on the 12th. It was his first time donating blood. I still need to journal but I have an idea of what I want to put on there. I've tried to teach my kids to help others when and if they can. One day he came home from school with a permission slip to donate blood for the Red Cross Blood Drive at school. I was a bit surprised he wanted to and asked him why - he said "I figure that someone might need it and I can always make more." My heart was full of joy!
