Journaling reads: Our wonderful adventures with the truck started once we got to our cabin. After we arrived and found out which cabin was ours, we made our way down the little hill. However, we soon found out that our truck might not be cut out for the mountains. First of all, we took a wrong turn and when we tried to turn around and go back up the hill, we met the ice! Oh that was bad! We started sliding back down the hill even though Daniel had his foot on the brake. Once we finally made it to our cabin, we parked up at the main parking lot for the rest of the trip. On Tuesday it snowed lightly all day and the bottom picture is what the truck looked like after that day. On Wednesday, we visited Helton Falls. As we were leaving, we again encountered an icy hill. This time there was no getting up it since it was a significantly longer hill than before. So we found several boulders and loaded them in the back of the truck for more traction and that is where they stayed for the rest of the trip!
