After dropping off that gift album at the airport post office today, I stopped at Earthquake Park in west Anchorage. This shot is of the barge, "Midnight Sun," as it traveled at a pretty good clip toward the southwest in Cook Inlet.
To the right of this view is the city of Anchorage. I would have taken more photos (took about a dozen), but the wind was strong and despite the relatively warm temps (low 20s), I was freezing out there! Also managed to get a shot of Mt McKinley/Denali just a little left of this view, but there was enough haze in the air to make it rather "ghostly" a difficult to see.
