I'm new at this. I don't have many tools so I had to hand-cut the wavy border with scissors, then slide in the white paper. The denin flower in the center is from an old pair of jeans! That probably dates me, ha ha.
On the 4th of July in my town, the Symphony plays a free outdoor concert followed by a fantastic fireworks show. This was my son's reaction to the frivolity. I thought he would be afraid - of the crowd and the noise - but he was pretty chill even though it was WAY past his bedtime.
I put the lyrics to "Yankee Doodle Dandy" in the journaling block because that's a silly song I used to sing to him because my Grandma used to sing it to me!
