awwww - sorry she got scared. I think this is SOOOO cool. We had one loose in our town last year and I was hoping he'd wander to our yard :) 'Course I don't want him in the HOUSE, but... I think they are wonderful magestic animals and I'd LOVE to see that . The one in town had followed the river down from the area up north where he "belongs" and they had police and helicopters all over rounding it up and heading it off. They finally treed it, shot it with a tranq. and hauled it into a big truck and took it BACK up north into the wooded mountain area it should call home. Silly bear :)
As yes, a bit of a shock to open the door to a BEAR! Happens at our cabin this time of the year and each time it is to the same lady. The bear stands on her deck and looks in the window and starts clawing the door. She rings for help and hides in the bathroom. EVERY stinking year. And she never takes a photo!
awesome photo, perhaps a touch close for comfort tho!! glad everyone is safe, spring is a horrible time to see them as they've just woke up from their nap & are hungry.good luck with the moose!!!!
Spring eve 630pm..We heard banging at the side door and thought that #2 son had forgotten his key, Emily got up to answer the door and next we heard a loud scream..This big black bear had just dumped our garbage can and she was close enought to tell us the size of the bears tail, his huge paws and his beige colored snout...Plus she said he was black sharpie color..lol lol..Anyway DH and I watched this full size male walk thru the orchard and into the neighbors yard as you can barely see in this totally zoomed out picture...So now that i have filmed the bear its high time for me to see the Moose
