"Uaimh Na Greine"
Uaimh Na Greine is the Gaelic for Newgrange and means 'the cave of the Sun'. Newgrange is one of the most important Celtic sites in Ireland - every winter solstice the rising sun shines all the way into the inner chamber.
Supplies: My Minds eye Papers, Creative Imaginations chipboard alphabet, Tri-Spiral printed on accetate and then drawn over with Distress Stickles. Hand shape is my hand.
journaling: It was an add feeling - like my soul was home. My visit to Newgrange with Ian was an eye and heart opening experience. when I touched the entrance stone with my bare hands, it felt like my spirit was singing. this is my spiritual path to follow. When I get too far into the madness of 20th century life, i try to get back to my safe place for my soul and Newgrange is the place i remember to help me calm and refocus on living a happy life. Newgrange is where i learnt about karma and its place in my life.
