Well, you KNOW I'm a Choo Choo Lover! LOL! I want to make mountains and lakes and waterfalls for my train...when I finally get one!!
And I think I told you how I wanted it to wind in and out of walls into a couple of rooms at least! LOL The very thought of getting to make all of the landscaping excites me no end, as much as the Steam coming out of the locomotive, and hearing the WHOOO WOOO!!!! K-back to bed for me!
This is my husband's train! We share the love of trains and when he wanted to put a train up in the house, I think I was more eager than he was! Between the two of us we came up with a wonderful plan for the track to circle the family room with a circumfrance of about 63 feet. It hangs from our 14 foot ceilings part of the way and is supported by brackets attatched to several walls the rest of the way! We have also incorporated our collection of Dept 56 Dicken's Village pieces to give it some decoration. Jerrold cut the track out of melamine board! It has some winding turns, 90 degree corners and varying corners of different sizes beyond that. It is a conversational piece, to say the least! It can be seen from our front door, so when someone comes to the door it is so fun to see their facial expression if they are train lovers! That is not just among men, but also women love the train too! My journal page is only an 8.5 X 11 size so I was limited by the number of photos I could use. I would like to have shown many more! Thank you for looking!
