The poem on vellum reads: My lovely little boy, my hope, my hap, my love, my life, my joy.
I used an exacto knife to cut along the house and the body, tucking the vellum behind. Hubby said it looks like I Photoshopped it, but it's done old-school. :)
Butterflies are from metallic/reflective material - like confetti. Flowers around the mat are rub-ons. The quote is from a collection of "boy" quotes on vellum A rare attempt at being artsy rather than simply chronicling an event. :)
