This is for the Febuly Challenge -- week 5: Designer Inspired
The requirements:
-Find a designer brand that will influence your next scrapbook LO.
-You need to add some kind of bling to your LO's.
-Your journaling must start with "Betcha didn't know...."
-and last but not least you need to incorporate the same colors as the brand of your choosing.
I chose Coach which of course, has no specific color scheme so I chose to use my pink Coach purse for inspiration. I used my Cricut to cut all the C's from Plantin Schoolbook and the 'is for' from Opposites Attract and glued them on the bg. I inked up a grungeboard tag to mimic the signature tag that comes on every Coach bag and used my stamping die set to stamp 'Cassie' on it instead of 'Coach.' It's nearly impossible to see in this picture, but I tried to take a detail shot of it which I'll upload also. I couldn't find any camel colored ribbon so I went w/ dark brown instead, but I set the eyelets and used the buckle to mimic another feature of a Coach bag. I used the gem heart and my dd's name in gems for bling.
Journaling: Betcha didn't know that every time I look at you, I'm in awe of the person you're becoming. You are smart, compassionate, thoughtful, witty, beautiful, and talented. I am so very proud to be your mother, and I love you with all my heart.
