My non-traditional dd wanted something other than pink to welcome her dd into the world. Purple and blue are her favorite colors. The only way to get a quilt in the those colors was to make it. Most of the scraps were from outfits that I've made for my nieces. My dd also has a fascination with fairies and other things with wings. The border is Disney Fairies. There are butterflies and dragonflies on the dot print. I cut out some of the butterflies from the border print to make 3-D butterflies for the corners.
