Altered spiral notebook for teammate of oldest dd. Astroturf attached to notebook, wooden soccer ball and inchies attached to astroturf, and lots of ribbons tied to spiral. I asked several sb.com friends for ideas on how to seal the astroturf after I cut it to the appropriate size. I wanted to prevent the cut edges from unraveling and losing little pieces of the "grass". Thanks for all of the help and great suggestions!! I used a heavy coat of Mod Podge to seal the edges and that worked VERY well. I cut the turf in a rectangle slightly smaller than the notebook cover as dd wanted to see the black and white cover peeking out around the turf. Black and white just like a soccer ball!! TFL
