The scan is a little yucky, but I think it will work. The scanner didn't like the B&W I guess. Anyway, this is my oldest daughter on the beach in California. I matted the photo in white and black cardstock and inked the white to make it blend more with the rest. Journaling pulls out of the bottom of the picture which is written on white inked cardstock (with a black matte also). Black ribbon is attached to ease pulling out the card, and the edges are worn on the card to make it look "rustic." I also used staples on the pullout card.

You had such a great time while we visited Newport Beach in California. You had fun running from the waves and even more fun playing with new friends... which you helped to dig a big hole in the sand. You were a little sad when we had to leave but don't worry. I'm sure we will return again someday.
