This is my little friend Ivy Jane. She is quite a character. Her mom sent me these photos along with the journallingStep 1 - You must make your intentions to drink known to everyone in the room. Several high pitched announcements should get their attention. Be sure to bat your eye lashes if anyone gives you a vexing look.

Step 2 - Slurping is key ladies. You must remember to slurp loudly with every sip. Your guests will surely find this very entertaining.

Step 3 - The smack! Following each slurp is the smack with a very audible AHHHHH! The experience must sound just as refreshing as it tastes. Great expression must go into this finishing move so that everyone knows you are satisfied and the host knows you are enjoying yourself.

Step 4 - The ring on the table. No not your jewelry but the ring of liquid that forms around the bottom of your cup as a result of a enjoyable but classically messy tea drinking experience. Try to leave this mark on white silk table clothes or beautifully finished table tops so that your host will never ever forget this visit.

Follow these four easy steps and you too will find yourself a one of a kind and likely only one time guest!
