This is a picture of my maternal grandparents and I would say it was taken in the early 1900's. I had never seen this picture, and had only one other picture of my Grandmother Bridges and it was very poor quality. My dear friend, Ann Marie, found this picture for me on a search of an ancestry site on the internet. This lady was my mother's mother and died when my mom was only a year old (1916) so I never got to know her which always made me sad. My middle name came from her. I did know my Papa Bridges and he was quite a character. He lived with my mom for awhile and passed away in 1965. When I look at him in this photo, I don't ever remember him being this small or short! My mother evidentally took her height from her mother. I will do a separate page of journaling for this page before it goes into my heritage album. I was so thrilled to receive this picture. Thanks Ann!
