Dan, the pattern from the book 201 Paper Pieccing patterns had him holding a pumpkin, but it looked funny. Besides, he is already 8 inches tall and 3 inches wide. I may put a pumpkin next to his feet. Oh, and good idea about the raffia for fibers. LOL!! I was just thinking that when I read you post. Great minds think alike.

oh he is very cute.. the scarecrow pp I did was supposed to be on a tag too... but it would have been huge. lol.. this is great I loved the papers u used!!
This is part of a tag for the crazy for tags swap. I paper pieced a scarecrow, but couldn't make him any smaller. I think I will mount him on kraft colored cardstock for the tag part. He will be kind of a long tag.
