What amazing detail work with your handmade embellies!!! Thanks for the reminder that we can do so much ourselves instead of having to buy pre-made items all the time!
Awesome job smearing the yellow ink around the edges of the pics... what a great idea! Great job on handcutting the saw... must have taken a while. TFS
I did this for the April 2 page LO challenge. I made the saw blade by tracing a real one and hand cutting it. The hammer and wood on the bottom right was paper pieced after I got the image from some free clip art online. I used my yellow dabber around all the photos and added "nails" by using my big bite to punch out the circles. Then I distressed the edges with black ink and a Q-tip. The title was completely handmade. I used wood pp and inked the edges a darker brown. Then I used a silver pen to make the nails. I had alot of fun with this.
Journaling reads: One day Pape taught you how to use a hammer and nail. You were so happy that you ran inside to get me, daddy, and grandma, so you could show us what you learned. I just had to take pictures when I saw the look of total concentration and determenation on your face. It was so cute!
