Really cute. I haven't had much editing experience, but someone may also know if it can be edited to help. My only suggestion is to try to block the reflections with something. The umbrella or poster board are good ideas, but you may need something larger, and have it set up in advance. Unfortunately, I can't think of what--maybe a sheet hung over a tree branch if there is one in the right position. I hope you get it. I think it will make a great picture--it's already cute.
LOl this is to cute. Lucky does this when someone comes to my house or if he hears anyone drive up to the neighbors. but my cat crawls under the blinds.
This is what I do and it USUALLY works. have a large black umbrella with you, OPEN and behind you and the camera to cover the reflection, or else a large piece of poster board or tag board, block the reflection...get the cat.
My personal opinion is the natural light will be an issue no matter what. I would suggest trying to get at a high point and shoot downward if possible. Now for me taking pics through glass is easy, I just press my lens up to it and snap away! But, my subjects are not nearly as close! =}
I like to sit on the front porch and listen to nature. Grey Lady loves to jump up on the windowsill and look out by pushing herself through the blinds. I have tried and tried to get a good shot of it! Any ideas how to set my camera to get her and not the reflection from outside. The house faces West. I have a Samsung Digimax S1000.
