Your grandaughter looks so much like you. This page is so beautiful is would take me forever to tell you everything I like about it--so I will just say WOW--fav!!!
I really love this....and I love the idea of using cards....they are memories too and usually I don't know exactly what to do with them....this is great!!!!! Very, very, pretty.....love the colors and I love the Photo.....but I love "real life" photos!!!!!
This is fantabulous! I've saved all my cards too and have wanted to do something with them...you made them come together so very well...just a completely beautiful lo and love the story too!
Beautiful distress work on this one!! and such pretty papers!! (I picked up that paper pad months ago and have yet to find time to play with it!!) just love what you've done with the embellishments!!.....and I hear you about missing those cute mispronounced words!!....a fave for sure!! love this!
This is sooo beautiful! What a sweet photo and lo!You and Sarah have a strong resemblance!Beautifully done!Congrats on your featured lo!This is a fave for me!Just darling!
Just beautiful, what a lovely idea having those gorgeous flowers from such an old card, they look like one of those vintage decoupage sheets truyl beautiful.
This is such a lovely lo, Sue. I love all of the cut out flowers, what a great job. Must have been very time consuming. The story is so cute. I love it when they are learning to talk, so sweet!
Oh, so lovely, Sue!!! I so so love your beautiful flower work.....Flowers are not something that some easily to me, but I love them on your pages so much....I am looking forward to using more of them! I know what you mean about missing the mispronounciations! My eldest granddaughter had several that were so endearing and once they were gone I was a little sad...even though an 11 year old saying "dopter" instead of "doctor" would probably not be that cute -huh? hahahaha!!!
What a sweet layout!!! Love the journaling! My grandson called me "mawger" for the longest time, which we decided was grandma backwards! I still miss it!
What a beautiful and creative page. Cutting up that card was a brilliant idea. It looks gorgeous on here. Love the distressing too!! Shane started calling me Nana. He did that all on his own. Guess he couldn't say grandma, then after a few months it turned into Nina. Now I'm still Nina to both of them.
Beautiful page!! I love the colors and picture, she looks like Framma!! My grandson called me Grander and still does (he's 11 now)! But I still love it!
oh wow
! this is absolutely gorgeous! already into my faves! love how you used these papers...your distressing and the strips for your journaling are divine! really fabulous!
Well I think this photo is so beautiful and natural of the two of you. I love it and the whole page is wonderful! The journaling is wonderful. I can remember when our little ones started to talk and the grandchildren...my little Max used to call his other Grammie, Grammie Busy....her name was Issie, but to this day she is Grammie Busy. And I have always been Grammie Teesh. TFS!
Journaling says: When Sarah started speaking she couldn't pronounce all the letters in words, so instead of being called 'Grandma' I was 'Framma'. She said it in such a sweet endearing way, that when she would call you, your heart would practically melt. After a while, she got it right,. But even now, I miss it. I guess I liked being called 'Framma'.
This picture was taken 2-29-2004 A little over 5 years ago. The picture isn't the best, even though our faces are in the shadows, the sun was blinding us, hence the squinty eyes!
The butterfly was partially cut out of the paper and some pop dots were added under the wings. Also - all the flowers on top and side were cut out of an anniversary card from about 15 or 20 years ago!
