This was done for Aprils Weekly old Pagemaps challenge week 2
Journaling reads: We have had this Christmas cactus almost as long as we have been married. The first 2 years it bloomed. I repotted it several times as it grew until it was repotted into its current pot. After the 2 years it did not bloom. I did everything to get it to bloom with no luck. Finally I just left it alone.Then late Feb. of 2005 we saw a bud. That year we got 1 or 2 buds at a time for about 2 months.The following year it was budding earlier in Feb. with more buds at a time. In 2007, we had even more buds starting in January. December came and we found a bud. Yes, it finally bloomed again for Christmas (unfortunately those pictures were lost in a computer failure.) That winter it was loaded with buds and was beautiful. But something happened, and it started wilting. It looked as if it was going to die. Some branches did die or broke off. I took off the dead, added some dirt, and waited. March of this year we found a couple buds as if to say I'm not done yet.
No products have been added to this project.
