This castle flip book was made to honor my son's arrival. As an infant we took a sightseeing trip to Verona where we went to a castle. This is a handmade castle inspired by a French blogg (floliescrap). It is two pages or actually flips open for a total of 6 pages. The edges are all covered with soot distressing ink to enhance them.
This is how it appears when it is all closed. The coffee-stained scroll reads: All Hail Prince Dalton the New Ruler of the Kingdom. The bushes are stencils cut out and hand-painted. The drawbridge is popcycle sticks painted and covered with crackle paint. The clouds in the sky are masked and the sun is stamped.
