January 2006 Color Challenge - lime green
Lime green was a real challenge for me - I've never used it (or any similar shade) on a scrapbook page before. I didn't expect to love my final result this much!
Journaling reads:
Staci doesn’t want her picture taken now that she’s pregnant. I can’t imagine why. She looks so cute, big belly and all. There’s a certain special something that radiates from a pregnant woman, even one who waddles when she walks. Staci has that something in abundance. Maybe it’s the joy of knowing she’s begun to walk the path she’s always wanted to follow– she’s becoming a mother. Maybe there’s peace in carrying a child beneath your heart. Whatever it is, you can see it in her face right here.
She announced her pregnancy in July – as soon as she knew she had “a pea in the pod.”
