This is the final product of our tribute to my Dad - a showdow box made from the same materials of his Hand-made coffin - for my Mother to enjoy and keep his memory alive in her house and heart.
Born May 10, 1926, wed to Marcella Marie August 20, 1946, on his horse, "Blackie", his favorite saying: "Come back when you can't stay so long", his CB handle "Roman Brick" (he was brick mason), served his country in the Navy, stationed in the Phillipines, loved his Cardinals and Squirels for entertainment in his last years, and, of course the orange slices (candy) that he teased his grandkids with, telling them he had a mousie in his pocket until they realized he had candy and teased him back, always getting the "goodies". He passed on to a better place on April 8, 2009. We will always love you, Dad, Grandpa & Great Grandpa, and remember you in our hearts and memories forever.
