Beautiful pic and journalling, and I am in love with this design ... read every word, thank you for describing how you created this, hardly anyone does ... this lo has inspired me, going to pm you
Love all the detail work here. The scalloped circle is brilliant; great idea with the punch...time consuming I'm sure, but well worth the effort! Love the way you've used the paper, especially the runner down the side of the pic! Love the idea of raising some of the pattern with pop dots...so effective. The pearl paint adds such a nice finishing touch. What a great pic!
So many beautiful details to admire!!! How wonderful your title looks (nice job with your Silhouette), awesome journaling (always so sincere and heartfelt); fantastic work on the tassle (very creative) - one absolutely marvelous LO!!!!
Oh wow, this is simply beautiful!!! That is a fantastic photo you took and I love the pp's you chose to go with it!! That border is really cool and very eye-catching! And your journaling is wonderful, as always!! Faves!
Ooh, it's gorgeous, Susan! I love the blurred background of the photo (now that I know how, I'm doing it ALL the time...hehe). Super paper choice and great design.
That photo is magic Susan, isn't it wonderful when you realise you've created such a gorgeous picture from an everyday moment? I love what you've done with the rest of the lo too, great fresh colours.
Just loving your cute little tassel!!!....heehee, maybe you're starting another embellie craze?! ....loving the fresh greens in this page! beautiful design too!! fav!
Another layout of my DGS, Jacob, that I took during our visit to the bayfront park. I was amazed by the clarity of this photo...and actually pretty happy with my photography "skills". (accidents DO happen sometimes!! LOL!!) I used Making Memories papers. The border strip on the right side was cut from the design on one piece of the paper. The reverse side of that paper was small flowers. I punched the circles from the border strip, then flipped them over and raised them with pop dots for a 3-d effect. The circle is cut from MM paper also, and the scallops are actually circles punched with a 5/8" circle punch and adhered to the large circle. The "innocence" embellie is tied on with floss. The title "irresistible" is cut with the Silhouette. I made the tassel from the green floss also and used it as a pull for the journaling tag under the circle. I used pearl 3-D paint for the white dots. Journaling reads:
Jacob, I was so thrilled to capture this photo of you. You are always so active and moving so rapidly, that it's difficult to get this kind of photo. For just a moment, you were looking at your Mama and totally unaware of me and my camera. You look so mature in this photo, yet you are barely four years old. You may look older, but you're still our little guy, and you still possess an irresistible innocence. January 29, 2009 Journaling April 25, 2009
