After months of my husband complaining that her hair was in her eyes I finally dug up the courage to cut my little babydoll's bangs so they wouldn't get in her face anymore. This was her very first haircut ever. I was so relieved I was able to do it without poking one of her eyes out. LOL. I made a little envelope out of vellum to store the first piece of hair in. I made the flower by using my portable light table to emboss the shape and then cut it out and weaved ribbon for the stem.
