I made this page for the NSBD challenge to make a page about yourself. I had this picture for a while, so seemed like a perfect time to use it! Journaling reads:
Growing up, I didn't have a lot of self-confidence. There are a lot of things about myself I like - I'm smart, kind, generous, and I have a pretty good sense of humor. But I didn't fit society's view of pretty. Kids can be mean, and I listened to what they said. But I'm coming to the realization that they were wrong. While the outside isn't nearly as important as the inside, my outside ain't so bad! I'm pretty on the inside AND the outside. And it only took 29 years for me to figure that out.
