Every August, the "girls" get together for our birthday lunches - My Mom wanted me to join in the photo and so I jumped into her lap and hid from the camera. That made her laugh.
Later in the month, Mom got very ill and we found the tumor in her pancreas. Seeing her laughing here makes my heart smile. We don't know when the tumor will grow or spread, so every smile is a blessing!
The bouquet of flowers in the middle are flowers I found in the wedding aisle at Michael's. The lace rings are dollies I had.
