Ooh! That's the coolest journaling I've seen in a long time! The colors are beautiful and the white space is perfect! Oh, and sometimes, I use a mini tartlet pan to make 3' scalloped circles. Isn't it fun to use everyday things sometimes?
Wonderful job! I love the circles! this layout is a definite eye catcher with the circles and white space. I think you balanced it nicely by having bright paper to balance the bright white! Nice job!
For a different look, I decided to try a plain white background on this design, which was lifted from a book. I used my new green Zig pen (thanks to my non-so-secret swapping sister, MamaSaid!) for the journalling. I might go back and add some pen lines in the corners, but I tried really hard to refrain on this one and make it be very simple.
The O and S were made on my slice, and the circles for the photos and mats were traced from glasses and bowls, as I didn't have the right sizes of punches and I don't have one of those nifty circle-makers. The circles along the horizontal line were punched.
Journalling reads: I love to watch you two play together. Although there are times when you fight, usually, you are the best of friends. Sophie always has to do what "VaVa" does and Livie must always show her sister the ropes. Friends forever.
