In the summer of 2007 when Bill and I were dating Bill took his 2nd trip of the year to Thailand to dive and kayak.
We missed each other so much that we both put up webcams so we could sleep together. I put my computer on my nightstand to see him and he put his computer on his nightstand. Even though there was a 12 hour time difference, our sleep time still overlapped and we talked on Skype all day for him (all night for him) so I slept a lot in the day time which was night for him.
These are pictures taken on our webcams while we were sleeping.
My son would come into my room sometimes when I was watching tv quietly or doing something and I would say, "SHHHH - Bill's asleep." He would say, "But mom - Bill is in Thailand." I'd say yes, but he's also on my computer screen and we both have our mikes on so please don't wake him up.
Funny thing was when I would carry my laptop around the house and you could hear Bill softly snoring.
At work (my real estate office) everyone learned to come into my office very quietly in case Bill was sleeping on my desk and my mike our Mike's were open.
It gave me so much comfort to watch him sleep and he got comfort watching me sleep too.
