I love this. It has so much character. I use an old library table myself, but it isn't nearly as nice looking anymore so I don't worry about glue or cutting.
This is a photo of my favorite table ever, it's officially an antique possum belly baker's table. Originally used in farmhouses for baking, the table has two drawers, two slide-out cutting boards, and deep tin bins that roll out. The top has a leaf that can slide out to double in size. The whole table is on casters so I can move it around to have friends scrap with me. I have adopted it as my scrap table and its perfect! At first I was nervous using it for gluing and cutting, but then I thought if it could withstand 150+ years of baking, it could take some glue and ink...Right now I have this space in our lower level. I also have an office upstairs that I scrap in too, but this is a more peaceful space for me. The table holds a TON of supplies, but I also use bins, baskets, and stacking boxes for storage.
