This is my favorite photo from our day at the Fort Story beach in Virginia in '06. No journaling here because there are other lo's from this day that give all the info.

This is for the Febuly Challenge - week 10: Global. The requirements:
-some sort of circle or round object (to symbolize our planet). -- I cut a large circle out of the wood pp w/ my Cricut.
-you need to include the colors green & blue. -- Got it!
-there needs to be some sort of symbol recognizing Earth Day. It can be a pp with a tree, a picture of you holding a soda can (recyclable item), you and your kids planting a garden, a camping or fishing themed LO (enjoying nature), etc. -- I have a photo of Cassie at the ocean, flowers, wood & sea glass pp's, and mosaic glass to mimic the sea glass.
-and your title needs to start with an "R" for the REDUCE, REUSE, & RECYCLE slogan. -- Got it!
Although your LO doesn't really have to have anything to do with this GLOBAL theme, you will still need to make sure you follow all of the requirements.

This is also for the May Got to Love those Flowers Challenge -- I have 22 colored flowers stacked into 14, and I did the twist (torn or distressed pp): I tore the vellum.

A lot of people have asked about the R in the title -- it's a rub-on on a piece of green glass adhered to the top of the vellum.
