THIS is a real work of ART! There are at least 50 things I like about this, but one detail strikes me - the stamping with the flower in the upper left-hand corner. What a nice touch. It all comes together so nicely. Thanks for the inspiration!
Page 2 - Pop was heading into the danger of war, but while still in basic he stretched his wings for the very first time. Betty Grable, Rita Hayworth and Jane Russell were very popular pin-ups and were commonly painted on planes and ships then. I snuck in flowers and Stickles on this somewhat feminine page. This layout is a quite blatant lift of a lo done by the very talented Bluedragonfly, down to the little flower in Betty's hair! Thank you!
