So funny! I would LOVE to enter a "most embarrassing photo" challenge- you should host it!!! GREAt page- again- the embellies are fantastic- too many is just enough :)
haha but isn't it great whenyou think about the time it took for them to make the outfit? not to mention all the love? lol
my mom made me some crazy stuff too.
wow!!!! love this !!! how clever to print those little girls from the pattern envelopes...? When I looked at your LO, I recognized the girls but did not know from what...My mom used to sew HORRIBLE outfits for me during the 70's & I'm now having total flashbacks!!!! Thanks for the memories & inspiration!!!
OMG - that is so pea-pickin' cute! I LOVE the 70's girls and that outfit! Glad to know that others were also fashion victims of their era! I was actually a 60's fashion victim. By the time the 70's came along, I could no longer blame my mother for my hideous outfits! And going embellishment crazy is part of the fun of scrapbooking, right? If it was a fun layout (which it is) and you had fun doing it (which you did), then it's an overwhelming success!
Whoa!Flashbacks! My mom made my clothes too!Love this lo!The photo is priceless! All your elements and embellishments are awesome! And the pattern cut outs totally rock this!Well done!
I love what you wrote in your description - and I hope you have copied it on a tag or something to add to your page. It's priceless!!! Love the story about your outfit!!!! Absolutely awesome page!
OHMYGOSH! The only thing missing is a pair of white go-go boots! Thanks for the trip down memory lane!!! How creative this is! Every time I look, I see something even more cool than the last time!
omg!!! this is incredible!!! I love this....you really hit home here I was born in 1968 and this is soooo fantastic to the time....perfect!!! Love all the embellies! a fav.
A Pic of me at around age 3. My Mother must have been really proud of this "outfit???" she put together for me for her to take a pic of it. I don't know which part of this "look" I like most? The butterfly collar which is almost as big as my head, the horizontal stripes (btw I was not a cubby kid), or the matching red tights! I wanted to do a lo like the new "fashionista collection" but that paper wouldn't work with this photo since I was so young, so I printed out some Mcalls sewing pattern envelope covers from the 70's that I found online. The little 70's girls are probably what I like most about this lo, believe it or not it wasn't that easy to decorate around that outfit! I went kind of embellies crazy but I had fun. Is there a "most Embarassing pic challenge" going on this month??? I think I have the winner! TFL!!!
