A quick layout about the day my best friend brought her new son home from the hospital. My kids just couldn't wait to hold him! Sorry about the dark photo of the lo.
Journaling:
On August 19, 2005 John David J----- finally came home from the hospital. We quietly welcomed him with several signs on the front of the house, then anxiously awaited a phone call from Doug and Lori to tell us they had arrived. Shortly after 4:00, Lori called and told us to come quickly so we could see John David while he was awake! You two were so excited to finally get to see him! All the way down the street you kept asking if you could hold him. And when we got there, the asking turned to begging! You just couldn’t wait to snuggle him in your own little arms. After waiting patiently for mommy to take a turn, your chance finally came, and your faces lit up! You held him, talked to him, and wiggled his fingers and toes….and at the end of our visit I had to PRY him from your arms so we could give the family some much-needed private time. We are all so excited to have a new little boy to play with. And you two just can’t wait for another chance to hold him!
