The Quilt Block Itself (Scrapbook Style) Represents Me (The Background Fabric Is A Piece Of An Old Sheet I Had Growing Up) & The Journaling Represents David's Talent For Writing That Fits Perfectly Into This Lil Pocket..

Scarlett, your entry into this world is such a blessing to us all. As a gift, your mom and dad have asked us to help create a beautiful quilt for you. Each patch of your quilt will represent a little piece of us given to you and will be full of love and wishes for the brightest future you can have. We are already imagining what you may become in your life……a singer, a doctor, an artist, a mother, maybe even a senator. Your destiny is an open book with page upon page waiting to be filled with all the moments of your life. And no matter where your road may lead you we want you to know that our thoughts will always be with you. I wrote this little note as my own addition to your quilt in the hopes that you will read it one day and realize that even before you were born you were already destined to be a wonderful addition to the family.
